Mina Cidd

“When I was really young my parents went through some trouble and I had to decide whether to go with my mother to Michigan or to stay in Florida with my grandparents. I went to Michigan of course, but that was very challenging for a 7 year old version of me. My dad, however, has always been the biggest influence on my life. From what I read to what music I listen to, his presence is always there. My dad is a bartender which means it is hard for us to talk a lot, he works all night and sleeps all day so that’s pretty tough obviously, but I think it’s worth it; he encourages me with my plans of pursuing an education after high school be it at UNR or at UM.”
