AHS Fans Say Goodbye to Evan Peters
Award-winning series, “American Horror Story”, has announced its new season and fans could not be any more excited. The show first premiered in 2011 and has been a huge success ever since. Going on the ninth season, it will feature a summer camp in 1984.
Usually, the show keeps the same actors, but switches their story line and characters every season to keep it interesting. The talented actors and actresses in AHS are typically Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, Adina Porter and many more. Sadly, Evan Peters will not be seen in the newest season, “1984.”
Some fans are outraged to not see the beloved cast member but others are incredibly supportive. Evan Peters stated, “ I’m going to take a break, regroup, decompress, get back in touch with what I feel like I want to do. Not that I didn’t want to do any of those roles – they’re exactly what I wanted to do. It was just zero to 100 instantaneously. I want to play music."
The famous actor has played fifteen different roles during the show and fans are hoping to see a 16 role in a future season. Peters mentioned that the “American Horror Story” roles and his character on the show Pose, has had a draining effect on him emotionally.
Sophomore Gennavieve Kelman said, “ I have been watching the show since season two and it is one of my favorite shows! I want to cry I am so sad he is not going to be in it, he is the best one!”
Another sophomore, Kailin Corbett, said, “I love Evan Peters so much but I really do get why he needs a break. Honestly, like, all his parts are really intense. Even though he’s not in it, I still can’t wait for the new season.
“American Horror Story” will premiere the new season on Wednesday, September 18 at 10/9c. Get ready to binge and gather around the campfire for some summer camp horror stories!
