“Go easy on me” is the lyric that is circulating on TikTok after Adele released her single, “Easy on Me”, on October 15th. After the release, multiple users immediately made reaction videos and how much they relate to the song.

After a 6 year hiatus, Adele made her comeback for her 4th studio album, 30. Senior Katherine Yeh said, “I’m looking forward to her album because it’s been six years since she released any new music.”

Although fans were wishing for a lighter, more upbeat album, the release of her single gave them a sneak peek of how sad her upcoming music might be.

This suspicion was confirmed when Adele revealed that her album will be about divorce during her first live stream on Instagram. Another confirmation was during the “Adele One Night Only” concert on November 14th, when she debuted three songs that explored the singer’s emotions during the process of her divorce and being a single mom.

Throughout her career, she has been nominated 18 times at the Grammy Awards, winning 15 of them. There is no doubt that her new album will be nominated for more music awards.

Senior Brianna Smith said, “From just her single, I can already tell that her album is going to win and be nominated for so many awards.”

30 is confirmed to be released on November 19, 2021, with 12 songs and 3 bonus tracks. The order of songs on the album is based on her experience during the last few years. The album is now available to download and stream on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music worldwide.
